I had the opportunity to watch the debate on 10/23/06. Personal I think Alan came ahead. Ned sounded like an idiot; he had no insight on any of the topics, except that the war is bad. Joe sounded the same as he always does, I could not tell he had a cold, I thought he always sounds like that. Alan made some great points especially on the amount of money his opponents are pumping into this campaign. With spending like that, how do they intend to understand that we need to cut spending in Washington? I feel that candidates should have a maximum they can spend say one million and you need to get the most out of that money. That’s the type of individual we need in Washington one who knows what a budget really is.
